Live Life King Size

Well.. It always gives me a new perspective to life when I travel. Yesterday we were on the way to Ahmedabad by road in our own new car.  One can imagine the excitement of a first trip in own car. You can say we ran out of luck or simply it was meant to be,  that when we filled petrol in our civic and didn't get out of the car to check, the attendent filled diesel in our petrol tank.  We realized the mistake just before onboarding the expressway. It took four hours to get the problem solved. We reached our destination late by five hours. The excitement was crushed. We all were devastated by the condition of the new car.  Than after a field day, on the way back to home we met a relative. The guy was so exurbent with energy that it was infective.  All the stress and anxiety simply vanished. I realised that it all boils down to one's perspective of life. He told a simple story of aged gentlemen with intestine cancer wanting to learn to play piano. The aged gentlemen said he was a good singer and since the doctor had given him only eight months, he wanted to learn to play piano. His idea was that after death if he knew to both sing and play he would be given preference on the gates to heaven instead of hell where he would play to apsaras. His condition is so depressing yet his perspective is so different. After some poking I came to know his family and social conditions were also negative. But simply, the attitude!! The story of the gentleman combined with the happy go lucky attitude of our relative were enough to free us from the anxiety of the previous day.

Life plays it's parts but it depends on us, our attitude and perspective of life to make it beautiful for us. Our environment,as we humans have constructed,  is going to be difficult and challenging. Life will be peaceful and content only when we perceive and have a jolly attitude towards it,  despite all the circumstances.
Happy Life!
